Inventive New Half-Tone

After much gab, I am putting up some pix of the McDonald’s packaging I’ve been talking about. Okay, so it’s really only a single cup… I forgot that I wanted to capture it forever until after everyone else had tossed their trash.
Anyway… I am totally freaked out by this new half-tone technique. These new cup designs were the first ~and only~ time I’ve seen it used. That being said, I still have to give the creator some snaps. Someone somewhere had to come up with a plug-in for either PhotoShop or Illustrator or both. I cannot IMAGINE somebody sitting in their little office making the dozen or so of these that appear on all of McDonald’s new packaging {don’t forget about the bags and the sandwich containers}. Unless someone is practicing cruelty to interns, someone probably drew one, took it to a programmer to write the program, and then busted the rest out. Irregardless of HOW it was done, I think it’s pretty neat. Even tho I hate it.

Beware, web-savvies!
On my Quest for Knowledge {yes – there really is such a Quest} I have decided to up my web/interactive/Flash skills by doing a little blogging. I promise to use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I also promise to be amusing from time to time. And, I will probably say what you are thinking if someone gets me started on my feelings concerning the general populous.
